The White Tree’s DJ options

We have several packages featuring a DJ aesthetic that are designed to suit a range of wedding and event settings.

We have 3 products as follows:

1. The White Tree Live Mix: This features our DJ performing together WITH live instruments (sax, trumpet and/or Latin percussion)

2. Best Of Both: This features live acoustic musician(s) for the first half of the night and then a DJ taking over for the dance sets

3. The Party Starter: This is a cost effective package featuring live acoustic musician(s) for the first half and then our PA system utilised for the later dance sets.

To help you work out your preferred option, let’s break down our three options and explain their attributes and prices/inclusions together with some handy film examples...

1. The White Tree Live Mix
This product features our DJ performing together WITH our live musicians. The instruments that can perform with the DJ are sax, trumpet and/or Latin percussion. The White Tree Live Mix 1 features the DJ, + 1 instrument of your choice. The peak Saturday price for this is $3,200 inc gst. This is based on a 5hr timeframe (e.g. 6pm – 11pm) and features the DJ performing for the full duration and then the live musician to perform with the DJ for 3 x 40min sets (or rather, 2hrs of total playing time which you can split up as you please). We then have The White Tree Live Mix 2 and 3, which enables you to add extra musicians.

Our PA system and DJ equipment is also included in this package price and this equipment is sufficient for events of up to 180 guests. Remember, cheaper prices are on offer for non-Saturday weddings, and 5% discounts are applicable if booking us for multiple services.

***LIVE ACOUSTIC ADD ONS***
With The White Tree Live Mix, you are able to add our Live Acoustic Add Ons package which is customised for wedding bookings. This features the following inclusions:
– 20mins of live music pre ceremony as guests arrive and wait
– 3 x songs selected by you for the ceremony and performed live. The musician(s) will learn the songs you choose
– 2 x 45min live acoustic sets which can be used for the cocktail hour, or scheduled across the first two hours of the wedding reception
– PA system is included in this package. We require access to power
*The start/finish time of the acoustic add ons sets must fall within a 4hr call time.

Acoustic Add On #1: $950 inc gst
This features a live soloist for the included performance schedule (vocals/guitar)

Acoustic Add on #2: $1,690 inc gst
This features 2 live musicians (typically male vocals/guitar and female vocals) for the included performance schedule

Acoustic Add on #3: $2,430 inc gst
This features 3 live musicians for the included performance schedule. The instrumentation for the trio is flexible. A common mix is male vocals/guitar, female vocals and double bass. Or male vocals/guitar, female vocals and keyboard. You could even choose male vocals/guitar, sax and percussion if you wanted something a little funkier!

2. The Best Of Both
This package features live acoustic music for the first half of the wedding/event and then our DJ taking over for the later dance sets. The live sets include a maximum of 3 x 40min sets (or rather, 120mins total playing time) and these sets must be scheduled within the first 3hrs of the event.

We have three Best Of Both Options:

Best Of Both 1: $2,670 inc gst
This includes a live soloist to perform live music early on and a DJ for the dance sets

Best Of Both 2: $3,370 inc gst
This includes a live acoustic duo to perform live music early on and a DJ for the dance sets

Best Of Both 3: $4,070 inc gst
This includes a live acoustic trio to perform live music early on and a DJ for the dance sets

For the live musicians for the acoustic sets, you can choose the musicians/instruments that you would like.

3. The Party Starter
This package is a cost effective option featuring live acoustic music early on (3 x 40min sets) and then our singer remains behind to control dance music through the PA for the latter stages of the event. Note: This is not a professional DJ service, it is equipment hire.

Our singer will remain on hand to ensure the equipment is in check. They can play our White Tree curated dance playlist that features a collection of popular tracks. Or, they can connect your own custom playlist that you have created via a platform such as Spotify.

The Party Starter can be a good option for relaxed/low key weddings, or situations where you are wanting to keep the entertainment budget in check.

Ceremony Package

If you are booking the Best Of Both or Party Starter, you can add our live ceremony music package for the following price:
Soloist: $590 inc gst
Duo: $970 inc gst
